TWO people will stand in the Princes Risborough by-election next month.

Iain McLauchlan and Billy Pettigrove are both standing as Independents in the by-election for a town councillor on Thursday, September 13. (See links below for other stories related to the by-election)

Terry Dillon was also nominated but it was rejected as the election notice said it was not subscribed, as required by law.

There is a vacancy on Princes Risborough Town Council after Eunice Clifford resigned.

Both Mr McLauchlan and Mr Pettigrove stood in last year's election, but were not elected, when there were 25 candidates for 13 spaces on the council.
