Fire at Princes Risborough furniture factory

FIRE broke out in a silo store at a Princes Risborough furniture factory this morning.
Four fire crews - two from High Wycombe and one each from Princes Risborough and Haddenham - were called to tackle the fire at the Ercol factory in Summerleys Road.
They were at the scene for nearly two hours to extinguish the flames in the industrial silo, which measured 150m by 70m.
The fire was reported at 7.44am today. The cause is believed to be an electrical fault.
Nobody from Ercol was available to give a comment today.
