A BUCKS family are aiming to raise £50,000 to ensure seven-year-old Ethan Quinn can undergo a life-changing operation.

The Burnham youngster has Cerebral Palsy which means he is unstable on his feet and unable to take part in sports.

An operation called a Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy would improve his movement, but this is not always funded by the NHS.

Mum Karen says they will try to help another child if Ethan is given funding for the procedure.

They have already raised £10,000, but hope to add to that by staging a family fun day at Farnham Common Sports Club on Sunday, September 23, from 1 - 4.00pm.

The attractions will include bouncy castles, slides, go-karts and a bungee run. Entry is £1. For more details see related links.
