BUCKS doctors set to take over NHS budgets have arranged a series of events to gather people’s views on health services.

Chiltern Clinical Commissioning Group says it is keen to work with patients and local groups to examine how healthcare in the south of the county can be improved.

Dr Annet Gamell, a Wycombe GP and the group’s lead clinician, said: "GPs and other healthcare professionals are determined to ensure the way health services develop directly reflects local views and needs....These meetings will help to shape the way decisions are made."

The events over the next few weeks follow on from a series of engagement sessions earlier this year, where topics for discussion included transport links between hospitals, reducing obesity and increasing levels of exercise.

Chiltern CCG is also inviting people to give their views via questionnaires, phone, social networking sites, email and the through the website: www.chilternccg.nhs.uk

Details of the events:

Bucks Doctors may want the views on the Health service, but like the councils etc, they won't take a blind bit of notice.

Given their complete disregard for the views (and medical welfare) of wycombe people - I have serious doubts that this group will actually take any notice of "local views and needs"
I would be even more surprised if
"These meetings will help to shape the way decisions are made."
It's just more of the usual formal waffle and spokespersonsaid nonsense..that the Bucks medical establishment are so good at.......
