Man charged with 'failing to stop' after Cockpit Road collision

A 71-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with ‘failing to stop at the scene of an accident’ following the death of Ryan Adamson in Great Kingshill in March.

Police said the 25-year-old, from Nantwich in Cheshire, died after being struck by a vehicle in Cockpit Road on March 15.

Philip Nicholson, of Oak Tree Drive, Lane End, has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident and failing to report an accident.

He has been released on bail to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on October 9.

Three other men were arrested as part of the investigation but have been released without charge.
