Wycombe church to offer money advice to residents

A CHURCH is set to run free sessions to help people in High Wycombe take control of their household finances.
Micklefield Elim Church are offering the short courses in October and November to help the local community handle their money by teaching people how to chart their household income and take control of their expenses.
Lesley Knewell, who will be leading the free sessions called CAP money, said “With households feeling the squeeze on their disposable income, we’ve all got to get a bit savvier about our money to get through these tough times.
“If you know how to save and budget effectively, it can have a hugely positive impact on the whole family.”
The courses take place at Micklefield Elim Church, Buckingham Drive, High Wycombe, HP13 7YB and each course is three sessions run on consecutive weeks. Details of the next two courses are as follows: Wednesdays 3rd, 10th and 17th October: from 10.00 to 11.30 am and Mondays 12th, 19th and 26th November from 8.00 to 9.30 pm To find out more about CAP money or to book your place visit www.capmoney.org
