Elderly woman in collision with a car on zebra crossing
AN ELDERLY woman was knocked over by a car this morning in Princes Risborough, which then drove away from the scene, police said.
At about 10.40am she was walking across the zebra crossing in New Road, close to the junction of The Retreat when she was knocked to the ground.
Police said the car is described as a metallic turquoise coloured Honda Civic which initially stopped but then drove off from the scene.
Officers said the woman suffered only minor injuriies but was initially very shocked. She saw her doctor for treatment.
