Bucks sports centre to appear on BBC show
LONGRIDGE outdoor activities centre in Marlow will feature on BBC 1 Saturday as it competes for a National Lottery award.
The Quarry Wood Road centre is vying with two other Lottery-funded projects to amass the highest number of votes to win the coveted trophy for Best Sport Project and a £2,000 prize.
Amanda Foister, CEO of the centre, said: "We are thrilled that our work will be promoted to millions on national television."
The public are able to vote for their favourite projects until Sunday October 28. The winners will be celebrated at a special star-studded BBC show.
