Live: Wycombe district Olympians parade!

OLYMPIC heroes will parade through Wycombe and Marlow today.

Medal winning stars of the 2012 games toured through London earlier this month to bask in the glory of their triumphs.

Today, residents from the Wycombe District have the chance to congratualte our top sporting names during an open top bus parade through the streets of Marlow and High Wycombe.

The Free Press will be bringing you live coverage and photos via Twitter in the box below from 9.30am.

Approximate timings for the Olympic celebrations are as follows with locations marked on the map:

• Open top bus sets off from Court Garden/Higginson Park at 10am (A).
• The bus heads up Marlow High Street.
• Stops at Bucks New University, Wycombe, for a meet-and-greet from 10.30am to 11.15am (B).
• Drives through High Wycombe, Wooburn Green, Bourne End (C) and back to Marlow.
• Guard of honour at Higginson Park, Marlow (A) at 12pm to 1pm for another meet and greet, before the athletes are introduced on stage to the crowds by MarlowFM.
• Athletes leave to attend the formal Civic Reception for invited guests at Shelley Theatre, Court Garden - runs from 1pm to 2.30pm.
