Wouldn't it be nice if motorcyclists had lane discipline and wait in a stationary queue of traffic, in single file, like everyone else?

Many car drivers get annoyed with bikers as bikers have more opportunity to avoid traffic; then make unfounded statements about bikers 'being immune to road rules' etc.
I hope no one was hurt in this collision.

Probably another motorcyclist who thinks they immune to the rules of the road.

bonkers, what do you mean "not giving him enough room"?
