ABOUT 400 athletes will take on a gruelling physical challenge this weekend in Marlow.

Higginson Park will once again play host to the Xendurance Marlow Rowers Revenge Triathlon on Sunday.

It will be the 18th time the event, comprising ergo rowing, cycling and running, has taken place.

Money will be raised for the Sue Ryder charity.

Vicki Collins, running and challenge fundraiser, said: "Every donation, however modest, makes a real contribution to the quality of care Sue Ryder provides. By choosing to raise money with this year's event, you'll be helping us give people with incurable illnesses, incredible expert and personalised care."

Operated in conjunction with The Marlow Rowing Club Committee, as the founding club of the event, the Rowers Revenge Triathlon is designed to be a fun occasion where families can spectate and feel part of the day.
