SCANNAPPEAL trustee and consultant urologist Jon Greenland turned chef for the night and raised more than £700 at the first of three 'Come Dine With a Consultant' evenings.

Ten guests were treated to a four-course gourmet meal at Mr Greenland's home near Stokenchurch.

He said: "It was hard work but tremendously rewarding and great to see the food enjoyed by all those who came along."

The funds will go towards the £500,000 Digital Breast Screening Appeal for Wycombe Hospital to create a totally digital breast screening service, making Bucks one of the few counties to offer such a facility and radically improving diagnosis of early breast cancer.
