Oh come on! Before we sit in judgement and decide who is to blame according to the vehicles involved, without any evidence, let's have the good grace to hope that everybody involved is OK.

The white van driver just couldn't leave it alone when the Aston Martin came along, a complete and utter tool. Hope he loses his job and has the book thrown at him.

I nearly had an accident with the same car ... Driving down the 404 yesterday the AM had broken down in lain 1, and the woman was on the phone ... I was in the main over taking lane, and there was a car in her lane who went to pull out without seeing me, we both slammed on and very nearly collides!! The car just managed to stop before hitting her car!!
The break down was just after a bend and could not be seen until the last minute, not giving drivers doing 70 much time to stop in!!
So after almost experiancing an accident there myself, I know that if there were veichales in the over taking lane then there was a high chance of an accident!! I guess the lady owner of the AM is lucky it wasn't a wagon!!

"126
Stopping Distances

Drive at a speed that will allow you to stop well within the distance you can see to be clear."

Ivor's best friend ... You need a longer stopping distance when driving at 70 ... The 404 is a 70mph road ... You do not expect a broken down car to be in your stopping distance as you come round a bend!!
You were not there!!! Do not judge!!!
It was just unlucky, and a shame that the AM could not have gone that little bit further into the layby, or even pulled onto the grass verge!!
