HUGHENDEN Parish Council is looking for a new councillor after one of its number stepped down.

Heather Dempsey stepped down from her Hughenden Valley Ward due to work and family commitments.

This vacancy will be filled by co-option, which means the current 14 councillors will decide who is appointed from the people who apply.
