A FILM crew has been shooting scenes at the High Wycombe train station today.

There are cameras and equipment at the front of the station and there appeared to be a scene being shot with a black car screeching up to the front.

Train passengers can still get through to board trains.

People on the set were not allowed to confirm what was being filmed, although Simon Pegg was spotted, who talks on his Twitter page about currently filming World's End.

Update: Working Title Films and Big Talk Pictures confirmed The World's End was being filmed at High Wycombe on Sunday.

It is the third instalment of Edgar Wright's trilogy of comedies following the success of Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007).

Once again Mr. Wright co-wrote the script with Simon Pegg, who will once more star with Nick Frost. Joining the team are actors Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan and Rosamund Pike.

The World's End is set 20 years after five childhood friends attempted an epic pub crawl.

After reuniting they set out to recreate their drinking marathon, spurred on by Simon Pegg's character who has not quite come to terms with being 40. But their pub crawl takes an unexpected turn which could leave the fate of humanity in their hands.

I wonder if it is a recreation of the arrest (really the planned surrender) of a German spy at the beginning of WW2 (described in 'The Double cross system' by Masterman (I think).

One asks oneself: 'was it a TRUSTY' black car - was it a documentary about the lifestyle of Wycombe's Mr Wycombe?

Wonder if they looked in the sewers and at young adults clothing like Wycombe's most favourite weirdo does? OR toured some of the famous Saturday night haunts, like Vomit Alley. Glassing Way, etc?

Bad reporting there, they had a big sign up saying what was being filmed!

Yeah - Shaw Taylor or his modern counterpart will say:

'Did YOU see this man with sandwiches screech to a halt in his trusty motor car - were you present when he made a politically-incorrec
t gesture of pinching a young woman's bottom and then running away - if so phone Crimestoppers on ...'
