ROBBERS struck a man on the face as he was walking down the street and grabbed his cash.

Thames Valley Police have this afternoon released details of the crime, which happened on Friday between 7pm and 7.30pm.

The victim was a 37-year-old man, who was walking down Nutfield Lane, High Wycombe when he noticed two men ahead of him.

He told police that as he walked past them he was suddenly struck on the left side of his face and the offenders demanded his money. He handed over £90 and the two offenders ran off.

He was left with a cut above his left eye and was treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital but has since been discharged.

Police said one of the culprits was Asian and wearing a hooded top and appealed for information.
