Police hunt for burglars in Marlow

A HUNT is on in Marlow this afternoon to find burglars who appear to have fled after being disturbed.

Police officers have hurried to Nursery Walk, a cul-de-sac, off Spinfield Lane, where they are undertaking a search for the culprits.

Inspector Ray Wilks said at about 1.30pm: “We are still searching the area at the moment, it's still a live job. It appears that it was a burglary which was disturbed by the householders.”

Police were called at 12.27pm.

No arrests have been made yet and it is unclear whether the burglars managed to steal anything from the house.

Paul White, a tradesman from Lane End, was in a property nearby the targeted home when he saw two police cars arriving. The two officers were searching Nursery Walk.

Mr White said: "The officers asked me if I had seen a man on a grey top, but neither I or my friend saw anything. I saw them looking around for the man but apparently didn't find anyone."

Insp. Wilks said: “If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area please call the non-emergency 101 number.”

Don't be fooled the only way that the Police catch Burglars is if they break into the police station and give them selves up. (sorry they closed most of them so that wouldn't help either)
