A CONSULTATION has begun on the proposed Post Office move in Naphill.

Post Office wants to move the current service at 81, Main Road next to the florists, Floreat, to The Costcutter at 19, Main Road.

Post office spokesman, Rob Worley said: "The new Post Office in Costcutter will offer extended opening hours including lunchtimes and Thursday afternoons, and improved customer access, in a convenience store."

The same range of services will be available including banking services, automated bill and budget payment schemes, Post Office card account, as well as postage for inland letters and packets (including Signed For and Special Delivery), inland parcels, international letters and packets.

During the public consultation Post Office Ltd said it will welcome feedback on any issues customers would like considered before a final decision is taken on this proposal.

The consultation will close on November 23. Submissions can be made during the consultation by post to Post Office Ltd, c/o National Consultation Team, PO Box 1138, ST ALBANS AL1 9UN, via email to consultation@postoffice.co.uk, via the Customer Helpline: 08457 22 33 44 or Textphone 08457 22 33 55.
