NEXT year the Bucks Free Press will be helping young people decide what their futures could hold with the Choices Education Fair on April 26, 2013.

There are around 9,360 children in education within the High Wycombe area between the ages of 14-16. And due to the increase in University fees, they are being encouraged to start planning their educational future earlier than ever.

But what are their options? Before many of the them are ready to decide, they must first answer the question "what do I want to do for a living?"

And their parents must also consider whether they are financially able to support their son or daughter’s educational future - and if not, what other paths they could help their children take.

Choices is the only Education based event of it’s kind in this area and we are hoping to give answers - or at the very least CHOICES - to the students who visit. This event will be held at High Wycombe Town Hall.

It will include information and advice on the many options open to school-leavers - whether they are interested in taking A-Levels, attending Sixth Form College or university, seeking out an apprenticeship, finding volunteering work, taking a gap year or even plunging straight into the world of work.

Anyone interested in exhibiting at the event should contact Shanna Collins on 01494 755025 or at shcollins@london.newsquest.co.uk
