The founder of a Chesham company says he is delighted that his business has been announced as a finalist for a business champions award.

Global Infusion Group, based in Chesham, as well as Wooburn Green business Cleanhome Ltd, have both been announced as a finalist in the East of England Business Champions awards.

The global catering, logistics and brand support and live event support specialist and Cleanhome, a nationwide domestic cleaning company are among a host of businesses from across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk who have been shortlisted for the prestigious award.

Both businesses are finalists in the Buckinghamshire business champion category, with Global Infusion Group nominated for the service excellence award and Cleanhome Ltd hoping to take home a win in the training and development category.

Tony Laurenson, founder and MD of GIG, said:  "It is very gratifying that our hard work and endeavours are being recognised in the East of England Business Champions awards process.”

The companies will find out how they fared on Tuesday, October 20 when the county champions, category winners and the overall East of England Business Champion will be announced at a lunchtime ceremony at Center Parcs Woburn Forest.

The ceremony is taking place as part of the Beds SME Expo.
