ENVIRONMENTAL health experts are urging people not to feed pigeons because they are a health hazard.
Erith town centre and Bexleyheath Broadway's pedestrianised area have problems with pigeons and Bexley Council is continually trying to limit their numbers.
Food scattered on the ground in public places encourages pigeons, as well as attracting mice and rats.
Bexley Council says it gets numerous complaints about pigeons and the mess they make.
