POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 26-year-old man was robbed in the Micklefield area of High Wycombe.

The victim was walking through a park in Micklefield Road when he saw a man walking towards him, and moved aside to let the man past.

But as he moved to the side, a second man grabbed the victim’s arms from behind, police said.

The first man then took the victim’s wallet from his jacket pocket, before both men ran off. The items stolen include a wallet, a Post Office card and a quantity of cash.

The incident happened at 3pm on Tuesday last week, but the information was released by Thames Valley Police this morning.

The first offender is described as an Asian man, aged around 18-years-old and about 5ft 9ins.

He had short black hair and stubble, and was wearing a light grey tracksuit with a hooded top.

The second offender was about 6ft. He was wearing light blue denim jeans, black trainers and a black leather jacket. He wore his hood up.

Anyone who recognises the descriptions of the offenders should contact PC Gemma Brown at High Wycombe police station, via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org
