Police vs Fire in charity steak-eating contest
POLICE are on a collision course with the fireservice over a giant steak – but it’s all in the name of charity.
PC Matt Baker will go head-to-head with firefighter Stuart Long to see who can complete Mom’s Diner’s humongous 72oz steak challenge.
Staff at Thames Valley Police and Bucks Fire and Rescue have been collecting money to be placed in a pot – with the winner of the eating challenge taking the lot for their chosen charity.
Residents are invited to cheer on the competitors through the challenge. The steak and four sides will be served from about 7pm on Monday.
