A HOSPITAL patient punched a staff member before racially abusing another who tried to intervene.
Police were called to Wexham Park Hospital at 5pm last Thursday a report that a man - a patient at the hospital - was behaving in an aggressive manner.
The patient then punched the member of staff in the lower back, and another who intervened was given racial abuse.
Investigating officer PC Peter Dearden, from Slough police station, is appealing for witnesses to come forward.

- A 60-year-old man from Maidenhead was arrested in connection with the incident and was bailed pending further enquiries until 30 October.
