Three men have been arrested in High Wycombe on suspicion of child sexual offences today, in an operation which has now seen 13 people arrested.

About 20 officers took part in today’s arrests, which saw two teenagers and a 20-year-old arrested in the town and two 18-year-olds arrested in Aylesbury and Slough.

Police have now confirmed the 13 arrests since Tuesday “revolve around a single victim” and they were arrested as part of the Force’s Operation Royce for offences under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Each of the five arrests from today was on suspicion of causing or inciting sexual activity with a child under 16.

A 17-year-old, 19-year-old and 20-year-old were arrested in Wycombe with a further arrest of an 18-year-old in Aylesbury and an 18-year-old in Slough.

Investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Glister said: “These further arrests today are a continuation of those made on Tuesday.

“I am able to confirm that the allegations revolve around a single victim, and we are doing all that we can to keep them safe and support them through this investigation process.

“The arrest phase has, for now, concluded, allowing us to fully review the evidence and continue the investigation to a satisfactory conclusion.
