Cash was stolen from a village petrol station after robbers forced staff to empty their tills on Sunday.

Two men left a BP garage in The Parade, Bourne End, on foot after taking the money from forecourt staff.

Police are now searching for the men and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The first suspect is white, in his twenties and was wearing a dark scarf which was wrapped around his nose and mouth.

He was also wearing blue denim jeans, black trainers with white trim and a blue coat with silver buttons which he wore with the hood up.

The second suspect, who guarded the door throughout the robbery, was wearing cream coloured trousers, brown shoes and a grey hat under the hood of a black coat.
