Police have confirmed that ‘a number of cars’ were vandalised across High Wycombe again last night (Saturday).

The exact number of cars damaged is yet to be established, but police say they have received reports of vandalism in 'differing neighbourhoods of High Wycombe'.

A statement from Thames Valley Police read: “We are collating the information and have received multiple calls about single incidents.

“It is vital that local people report suspicious behaviour or incidents to the police straight away. In addition if anyone is made aware of videos or photographs on social media relating to these incidents then please call us.

“We have made a number of arrests in connection with these incidents and enquiries are ongoing.

“We are putting extra patrols on in the area until such time that we can be assured that all those responsible for these crimes have been caught.”

The fourth night of vandalism follows a criminal damage spree on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evening, which left at least 53 cars with smashed windows and sprayed with graffiti.
