A total of nine people from High Wycombe remain on police bail in connection with the spate of attacks on cars in recent weeks.

Thames Valley Police confirmed that the nine people are on police bail in relation to criminal damage to cars in High Wycombe.

This month has seen about 150 vehicles targeted in the town.

Windows were smashed and graffiti sprawled across the cars with the letters “NJNP” – believed to stand for “No Justice, No Peace”.

Police said they believe the spate of vandalism is connected to the verdict of the Habib Ullah inquest.

Earlier this month, police said the total number of vehicles targeted was 136, although the town has seen continued attacks on cars since then.

Just on Saturday night, 10 vehicles were damaged on Dashwood Avenue and a 16-year-old boy was arrested.

Police are continuing to patrol the area.
