The housing association in charge of a property that was shut by court order for three months said it has “zero-tolerance” for anti-social behaviour.

Thames Valley Police shut Red Kite’s Mendip Way house, in High Wycombe, after a closure order was granted by the court.

The order, granted on Friday, means no one, including tenants, is allowed to reside or enter the property for three months.

The order was granted under the Anti-social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Zosia Katnik, spokesman for Red Kite, said: “We have zero-tolerance for anti-social behaviour and take firm action when tenants breach their tenancy conditions.

“Having worked closely with the police to make this closure happen, we are now taking appropriate action against the tenant.

“We are committed to making sure our customers enjoy living in their homes and feel safe in their communities.”
