A 33-year-old man appeared in court this morning after being charged with an arson attack in Chalfont St Giles.
Mark Redmond, of no fixed address, appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court via a prison video link after being charged with arson with intent to endanger life.
Redmond was charged after a fire at a maisonette owned by Paradigm Housing in Seymour Road on Friday, April 24. A man was taken to hospital suffering from burns as a result of the blaze.
He has also been charged with an offence of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour causing harassment, alarm or distress.
Redmond is set to appear in court again on July 21, when he is expected to enter a plea.
