A 56-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of exposure after an incident in High Wycombe on Sunday.

The man, who is from the town, has been released on police bail until May 28.

His arrest was made in connection to an incident where a man allegedly exposed himself to a woman in her twenties in Brook Street, near the junction with Oxford Road.

Police are continuing to investigate the allegation and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

They believe a man who was standing outside the Umma supermarket may have had an altercation with the suspect after the incident and officers want to speak to him. They also want to speak to two women who may have seen the altercation.

Investigating officer Rob Allen said: "I would also like to speak to the driver of a small red car, possibly a Hyundai, Toyota or Ford, which drove past in Brook Street during the offence.

"If anyone has any information, please contact me via the 101 number as soon as possible."
