Three High Wycombe men today denied a robbery charge when they appeared in court.
The trio were all charged with robbery and possessing a firearm at the time of committing an offence after an incident at Today’s Local newsagent in Roberts Road, High Wycombe, on Saturday, May 16.
Jhanzab Sabir, 36, of Rutland Avenue, 37-year-old Abid Ali, of Mentmore Close, and 19-year-old Tre Bushay of Gomm Place all pleaded not guilty to the offences when they appeared at Amersham Crown Court via a video link from prison.
The court heard £100 in cash was stolen during the raid, and it is alleged the men had an AK47 in their possession at the time of carrying out the offence.
They are due back in court to be tried on September 7.
