A 34-year-old man has today been formally charged with the murder of Anita Kapoor, whose body was found dumped in a lay-by in Gerrards Cross.
Navin Mohan, of Quaker Lane, Southall, was today charged with her murder by Thames Valley Police after he was arrested on Wednesday.
He is due to appear before magistrates in High Wycombe on Monday.
The body of Ms Kapoor, from Hayes, was discovered in a lay-by off the A413 by a member of the public shortly after 8.30am on Tuesday. A post mortem concluded she died from asphyxiation, due to compression of the neck.
Senior Investigating Officer Det Ch Insp Kevin Brown of Thames Valley Police said: “The family of Anita Kapoor continue to be supported by specially trained officers and our thoughts and condolences remain with them.
“I would like to thank the Metropolitan Police and the public for their continued assistance in this investigation which will continue until trial.”
