Detectives are re-appealing for public help as they continue searching for a man wanted in connection with a stabbing which left a High Wycombe resident seriously injured.
Police want to trace Hamza Hussain, 19, in connection with a stabbing in Mendip Way, Downley, at about 2am on July 16.
The 24-year-old male victim was stabbed five times in the attack.
Mr Hussain is said to often frequent the Totteridge and Downley areas of the town.
He is described as Asian, about 6ft 2ins, slim, with brown hair. It is believed that at the time of the incident he had a top-knot hairstyle.
Det Con Emily Addison of Force CID based at High Wycombe Police Station, said: “If you see Hussain then you should call 999, or if you have general information about his whereabouts then please call 101.
“I would like to reassure the public that we do not consider Hussain to be a threat to the public.”

- A 17-year-old male from High Wycombe has been charged this week with grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
