A car crashed into a house, causing major damage to the building, and did not stop at the scene in Stoke Poges yesterday morning.
The car, a black Volkswagen Tiguan, was travelling along Rogers Lane at around 7.45am on Monday morning when it failed to negotiate a right hand bend and crashed into a house.
The car, which is likely to have damage to the front, did not stop at the scene and Thames Valley Police are now looking to trace the driver.
Investigating officer, PC Steve Lane from Roads Policing at Amersham, said the crash left the house wall 'unstable' with the "potential to fall onto the footpath and road very near to a busy school."
He said: "We are appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision or anyone who knows of someone who has sustained recent damage to their Tiguan.
"Equally, we urge the driver to come forward to speak to police."
