A High Wycombe man has been jailed for three years after pleading guilty to burglary and fraud.
Dominic Zammit, 35, from Cressex Road, pleaded guilty to one count of burglary in a dwelling and one count of fraud by false representation at Aylesbury Crown Court on January 25 and was sentenced the same day.
The offences took place on December 21 last year and Zammit was arrested and charged the next day.
PC Beck Brydon from High Wycombe Local CID, said: “This is an excellent result for Wycombe Local CID, ensuring the offender has been brought to justice.
“Officers acted quickly to secure an early charge and Zammit was remanded in custody.
“We strive to target offenders who cause disruption to our community and I hope this sentence will act as a deterrent to others committing crime in High Wycombe and the surrounding area.”
