A teenager from High Wycombe who was arrested on suspicion of committing terror offences has been released on bail.

South East Counter Terrorism Unit officers arrested the 17-year-old boy on suspicion of arranging funds or property for the purpose of terrorism on Thursday morning.

Following the town raid, officers told residents that the police activity related to conflict overseas and there was no immediate threat to local communities or anywhere else in the UK.

The teenager has been bailed until May 10, police have now confirmed.
