Two 18-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH following an incident in High Wycombe yesterday afternoon.
Police were called at around 4.40pm to Mentmore Road, Booker, to a report of an argument between the occupants of a black Astra and a blue VW Golf.
Two men were injured – one of them seriously – with what police believe was a "sharp implement" and were treated in hospital.
Both men have been bailed until May 15 2016.
Detective Inspector Mark Baxter said: "I ask that the community remain calm and if anyone has concerns please speak to members of the neighbourhood policing team who are in the area.
"I would appeal for anyone who has information about this incident to contact police on 101 quoting URN 1110 (28/3).”
