A hunt is underway to find a brutal gang after they attacked a man, leaving him with broken bones, in a town centre on the early hours of Saturday morning.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was walking through Chesham, close to the junction of Whitehill and Broadway, when he was approached by a group of four to five men.
Detectives say the attackers then “struck” the victim, leaving him with sustained broken bones and significant bruising.
He was treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and has since been discharged.
Investigating Officer PC Justine Haw based at Aylesbury police station said: "I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to come forward if they have any information.”
