A 26-year-old has been charged following an incident that saw a man assaulted outside a shop in Downley last month.
Anthony Crawford, of Goddington Road, Bourne End, has been charged on one count of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place, one count of assault by beating, and one count of criminal damage.
The charge relates to an incident that happened at around 7pm on February 28, where a man was assaulted outside the Co-operative in Plomer Green Lane, Downley.
Crawford was charged on Wednesday (March 8) and is set to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates Court on March 22.
