An 18-year-old man has been arrested after a "machete" was seen being brandished in the streets and what is believed to be the barrel of a gun was discovered in High Wycombe in the early hours of this morning.
Residents from Windrush Drive told the Bucks Free Press that they dialled 999 following the "disturbance" at around 1am.
Police later arrived and arrested a High Wycombe resident on suspicion of possession of a firearm after the "barrel" was discovered in Hawthorn Road.
He remains in police custody.
