Two men were attacked in High Wycombe on Sunday, which left one victim with a broken jaw.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault in Desborough Road, near to Lyrena Cake Box and Ruby Nails, at around 4.30 on April 30.
A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital with a broken jaw and a 44-year-old man sustained scratches and grazes to his face when they after they were attacked by the offender following an argument.
Investigating officer Det Con Tom Digby, of High Wycombe Force CID, said: "This was a violent attack on a public street which has left one victim in hospital with a broken jaw.
"I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information about it."
