A 21-year-old has been charged with ABH after a man was assaulted near a High Wycombe pub at the weekend.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a man being given CPR by door staff outside Butlers in Frogmoor in the early hours of Sunday morning.
South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Police were called to Frogmoor at around 3.15am to reports a man had been injured following an assault.
The pub was closed at the time of the assault.
While the injured man was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital, police arrested a man in connection with the attack.
Ioan Andrei Iorga, 21, of Alford Road, High Wycombe, was later charged with one count of ABH and has been remanded in custody to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court today.
