Four people were attacked in a fast food restaurant, with a man suffering a concussion after being kicked in the head, in High Wycombe at the weekend.

Two men and two women, all in their early 20s, went into Peri Peri Chicken Delight, in Oxford Street, between 3.50am and 4.15am on Saturday.

A group of between six and eight men then started an argument with the four people, attacking the two men.

One of the male victims was knocked unconscious after he was kicked in the head and punched to the ground. He suffered a concussion and cuts to the face as a result.

The other male victim was also punched in the face, suffering cuts and bruises.

The two women tried to stop the fight and one of them was pushed to the ground, causing a suspected broken wrist.

The other female victim also received grazes and bruising to her knees and legs.

All four were taken to Wexham Park Hospital and have since been discharged, police confirmed.

The attackers are described as six to eight Asian men, aged between 18 and 26, wearing casual clothing, with some having hoods up.

They are reported to have left in a silver saloon car and a white van type taxi.

Investigating officer, Detective constable Caroline Timmis, of Local CID based at High Wycombe, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this assault.

“We are aware that there may have been a number of people in the restaurant at the time of this assault and we would ask anyone who has information to please come forward.”
