Two men have been charged in connection with a "ram-raid" at a supermarket in Chalfont St Peter last month. 

Co-Op in Market Place was "ram-raided" by robbers just before midnight on February 5. 

Following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police flying squad and Thames Valley Police, Kirk McInerney, 28, of no fixed abode, and 39-year-old Liam Keenan, of The Nightingales, Stanwell, have each been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated non-dwelling burglary.

The pair were arrested on Wednesday and were charged the next day (March 8) before appearing at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court. 

They were remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on April 5. 

A 36-year-old man from Denham has also been arrested and is currently in police custody.
