Two burglars have been jailed and banned from driving after breaking into two homes.

Chengaz Khan, 35, of Dellfield, Chesham, and Ryan Lee, aged 30, of Dog Kennel Lane, Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, have been jailed for three years and two months’ imprisonment, and two years and five months’ respectively.

They were also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

On February 23, Khan and Lee drove to an unoccupied property in Two Dells Lane, Ashley Green.

They forced their way inside and then carried out a search of the property before stealing cash and electrical goods.

The pair then drove to Cock Grove in Hawridge where they forced entry into a property and then left.

They were charged with two counts of burglary dwelling the same day.

They both pleaded guilty to the charges and were sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on March 27.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Zoe Hardy, based at Amersham police station, said: “The sentence handed to Khan and Lee means that it removes two burglars from the community and allows residents to be safe in the knowledge that Thames Valley Police is working hard to stop those who carry out these sort of offences.”
