Body found off Green Common Lane on Wooburn Common, but death is unexplained

A MAN'S body has been found in a secluded spot in Wooburn Common but the death is unexplained, say police.

The body of a Polish man in his 40s was found just off Green Common Lane on Wooburn Common.

Thames Valley Police said today officers were called at around 11.30am on Saturday after a member of the public reported finding a man's body.

Emergency services attended the scene and confirmed that a Polish man in his forties was dead.

Det Supt Rob Mason, leading the investigation, said: “We are currently treating this death as unexplained and investigating the circumstances surrounding how the man died.

“The result of the post mortem examination carried out on Saturday was inconclusive and we are currently waiting for the results of further test to be carried out.”

The next of kin have been informed but no formal identification has taken place at this stage.
