SUPPORTERS of Micklefield Library have called for its future to be discussed as a matter or urgency at today's meeting of the High Wycombe Committee of Wycombe District Council.
Labour district and county Cllr Julia Wassell, who led the fight against the proposed closure of the library, needs five signatures from committee members to get it on the agenda.
Campaigners are asking for cash help from the High Wycombe Committee to help tide them over until they can put in a bid for lottery cash to rebuild the library as a community facility.
