Children say goodbye to nursery in Beaconsfield

CHILDREN in Beaconsfield said goodbye to their nursery school last week by taking part in a sports day event.

The four-year-olds' last activities at Oakwood Nursery before they move on to primary school included an egg and spoon race and the 'dressing up' race on Thursday.

They then sang for parents and teachers at the nursery, which is in The Beaconsfield School grounds on Wattleton Road.

Class teacher Philippa Lee said: “They will be greatly missed by their teachers and we wish them the best of luck for the future.”

Well said.

Whilst it is a momentous occasion as a parent, surely it is like reaching any milestone e.g. 18th/21st Birthday, moving to secondary school, passing a driving test/exams etc. I don't get this article.
