Princes Risborough primary school in Times top 100 prep schools list

PUPILS at a school in Princes Risborough are jumping for joy after they were placed 55 in the Sunday Times 100 Prep Schools list.

St Teresa's Catholic Independent School is non-selective and teaches from nursery class through to year six.

They gained their position based on their pupils' results in National Tests, which were well above average.

Jane Draper, acting head, said: "We have had a fantastic year with our children taking part in an extensive curriculum and a wide range of musical and sporting opportunities both with school, inter-school and at national level.

"We are all looking ahead to 2012, which begins with the arrival of our new headteacher, Mrs Thalia Milton."
